Aniston, Seacrest and Kimmel in New Funny Smart Water Ad

I for one was not ever sure whether those big smart water ads that you see along city streets on big billboards were actually endorsements by Jennifer Aniston or just a look a like. In case your town doesn't promote these same large displays and your unfamiliar with what I'm referring to, basically the Smart Water signs have a big eye catching image of the actress in a post-workout posture with her H2O bottle. Their aren't many products that come to mind which exert such a prescence in billboard advertisements as the Jennifer Aniston displays. It's likely been about two years since first noticing them around Atlanta and continually new locations will appear featuring a slightly revised version of the ad.

It makes sense to use her as product spokesperson considering that in 2007 Frobes magazine rated her the top selling celebrity face in entertainment. Financial concerns likely aren't an issue for her given that estimates of her net worth excede well over $100 million and she has been rated the 22 and 21 for most powerful celebrities in 2011 and 2012 raking in a combined $33 million.

Her foray in advertising isn't uncommon as she's appeared in many different promotions including a 1995 Got Milk ad with Friends co-star Lisa Kudrow. Three ads in 1997 included a print ad with co-star Matthew Perry for Microsoft, a Lynx dedorant ad, and L'Oréal Elvive shampoo commercial. Before the 2000 World Cup she appeared in a Heineken television commerical. Jewelry designer Damiani sought her endorsement in their print ads after a settlement over reproduction of the wedding rings that she and husband at the time, Brad Pitt apparently had exclusive rights to. Iin order for the couple to preserve the uniqueness of their wedding rings, Damiani agreed not to reproduce the same style, however the company reneged and began selling similar styles named after the celebrity couple. Then yhreatening a lawsuit, Pitt and Aniston reached an agreement upon which Pitt would design a particular piece for the jewler and Aniston later sponsored the corresponding advertisements.

Shortly after the last season in 2004 of the decade run of hit show Friends, her small screen appearances have been few and far opting instead to take film assignments in such roles as Along Came Polly(2004), Derailed(2005), The Break Up(2006) and some short film directing of her own.

The more recent recap of what she has been up to includes the 2008 feel good movie with Owen Wilson "Marley and Me," "He's Just Not that into You" along side Ben Affleck in 2009, "The Bounty Hunter," "The Switch" in 2010 keeping her busy and "Horrible Bosses" released in 2011.

The big attraction that she's recently been reckongized for is the movie "Wanderlust", a comedy about a married New York couple who end up living on a hippie commune. Her character Linda and husband George is played by her current boyfriend Paul Rudd. The story is about how they ditch city life and learn to let loose "and live off the land" as some free-loving hippies. Some of the film’s funniest moments involved sex, drugs and nudists, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

However, it won't be soon that Americans forget the remarkable ten seasons that her and other cast members played on Friends. Rumors have often abounded about a final reunion show. Her comments on such an idea offered given in an interview before the release of "WanderLust" said, "It would probably take those five actors and be somewhere where we left off. I loved what I did for 10 years; it was pure joy and nothing but fun, and it’d be hard to top it. The way we sort of felt the excitement of what Friends was when it started, it would have to be something where you felt a similar charge. But I’ll never ever say never."

As for the other members of the show, Lisa Kudrow has been starring in the comedy "Web Therapy," Matt Leblanc in "Episodes both on Showtime, Matthew Perry begins the new NBC TV show called "Go On" in the next week. David Schwimmer has been taken his on stage performance to full effect with his current perforamnce in the new Broadway play "Detroit." Courtney Cox also has been keeping her acting career in motion as the lead character in the show "Cougar Town" about recently separated forty-year old women living in a Florida town. The show aired for three seasons on ABC beginning in 2009. The rights were bought by TBS to produce the show beginning in 2013 where they expect to air a minimum of fifteen episodes

Some recent buzz around has circulated around the YouTube community for the video advertisement of her and the Smart Water campaign. See it below...
