It doesn't Seem like a Year has Passed
Well as it seems to have done for the last three years, the Victoria Secret Fashion Show has yet again subtlety drawn my awareness of it's scheduled broadcast. Today, like this time last year as I quickly checked into my twitter account from the desktop computer at home, I noticed the trending hashtag that indicated the airing of tonight's sultry showing of glamorous babes strutting the stage in their revealing attire. As this website has done twice before, it seems again that for 2014, a brief preview of the action for what viewers might come to experience with tonight's show is appropriate. More or less as a way of simply expressing support for such an eye popping television event but also for instilling a light hearted tradition at Yoodledoo.com to write a quick synopsis about the stunning showcase of women does the event deserve this website's attention. So as follows...
Like last year, the VS Fashion Show takes place in London with an entire line up of approximately forty models. A number of these ladies have appeared in many of the previous years' events alongside the accompaniment of musical performances to help set the stage of excitement during the hour long program. 2012 included Jay-Z as the headlining act while this year will be a bit of a musical repeat from 2013 as yet again Taylor Swift will perform along with three other popular musical acts including the folk guitarist Ed Sheeran, pop vocalist Ariana Grande and Irish rocker Hozier.
Included among the line up of these dozens of young ladies is the featured pack of 'angels' whom consist of eight well reckognized brand ambassadors who will be making their successive debuts as the featured VS models in the night's event. Part of this group, is that of the young 22 year old starlet named Karlie Kloss, who as an incredibly tall 6'1 brunette from St. Louis has been recognized as one of the world's recent top supermodels. However, as this new entrant makes her second visit within the televised Angel line-up, she hasn't done so conspicuously, as tabloids have recently run the story of an allegedly romantic kiss between her and Taylor Swift just a few days ago. The incident took place at a concert that the two had attended together for the British pop group called 1975, for whom the lead singer, Matt Healy, Taylor Swift is reportedly in a relationship with.
The rumor began circulating after another concert goer snapped a camera photo of the two girls apparently locking lips in an upper level VIP balcony seat of the concert venue. Despite outspoken assurances from Swift's PR personnel that these allegations are 'meritless', the photo seems quite telling and given the routine rants about personal young adult romance issues written in Taylor's musical lyrics, makes the saga seem at least a little bit plausible, lol.
But regardless, the hour long VS Fashion event is set to kick off in full force Tuesday at 10pm on CBS. Of all the returning top fashion show 'angels', includes a fifteenth straight appearance by the 33 year old Brazilian, Allesandra Ambrosio. While several of the other featured runway celebs include Lindsay Ellington, Doutzen Kroes, Behati Pinsloo, Lily Aldridge, Adrianna Lima and Candace Swaenpoel. Most of these afforementioned names have been awarded the honor in previous years of dazzling the stage by wearing a multi million dollar fantasy bra that is adorned in flashy diamonds and has been an ongoing tradition since this event first aired for television in 2001. If that particular garment is actually what draws your attention to the surronding spectacle of enchanting, lovely models then this year expect the unveiling of two such diamond studded treasures to be worn by two of the event's veteran beauties.
This year, may in fact be the one that I actually do watch as now cable TV is connected to my home television for the first time in at least eight years. So as I intend to do for this once a year network TV event of hot chicks and pop music entertainment, grab a few beers or glasses of wine for a casual observance of the night's action.
